In comparison to other countries (ie. The USA) Canadians pay significantly more for less service, particularly in the area of wireless (cell) phones. A Canadian can reasonably be expected to pay $90 to $105 per month for one line (anything including 2.5 GB of data or more and Canada-wide calling).Conversely, in the USA one could expected to pay as little as $100 or less for 4 lines with similar features but with the added addition of calling to Canada and free roaming while travelling to Canada. This works out to approximately $25 per line. Therefore they receive more service at about 1/4 of the cost.
