We live in Gore, Quebec. After 10 years of being completely dissatisfied with our Bell Canada high speed internet service, we cancelled it and opted for a Bell turbo tower to provide us with cellular internet. The cost of the initial Bell high speed internet was outrageously expensive but the service was completely unreliable and frustrating at the best of times. The cellular service is flawless but runs us about $400.00 for the summer months when friends and family are present (May - ****) which is also outrageous. Our understanding is the the Bell telephone lines that service our area are old and outdated and not fiberoptic. Although the different technicians tried year after year changing the pairings and working on the lines from the main hut out on the highway, it never worked properly. We also found that the more people that were present in the region, the worse the service became with the load on the lines etc.
