The CRTC'S desire to eliminate confusion regarding the cost of services (billing, promotions, etc.) is laudable but this principle of openness clashes with the competitive nature of our telecommunications industry. A universal complaint by Canadians is the inability to understand an invoice when multiple services are bundled together. Add promotional incentives or offers that last from 1, 3, 6 or 12 months for individual services in a bundle and you have total confusion. Moreover, this is after you have "signed on" with a service provider. It is even more frustrating when you attempt to compare offers from different competitors. The CRTC would like Canadians to compare apples with apples. Regrettably, this will not happen until clear directives are given and enforced and not simply voluntary guidelines. I have a quote in my inbox sent by a service provided that is impossible to understand. **** this change come **** 2016? Thank you.
