Reliable access to the internet...While I will not quote specific numbers here I will say that our upload speeds are typically atrocious, especially through coax/cable internet. People require more upload speed now as they share more images and video and use more cloud storage solutions (such as Google Drive or Dropbox).Another big issue is the lack of any regulation forcing incumbents to provide wholesale access to fibre infrastructure to 3rd party ISPs. My apartment is wired with glass so my only options are Telus or Shaw, I had to get rid of Nucleus when I moved there and TekSavvy isn't an option either. Finally I also believe that the CRTC should mandate a minimum download and upload speed that qualifies a service as broadband or high speed. Similar to what the USA has done recently, a service cannot be called broadband unless it has at least 25 download.
